And another, from the SF Bay Times:
Director James Reese has made good use of the dinner theatre venue, keeping the Captain moving about the rooms so that every patron gets to see and hear him share Twain’s imaginative perspective of the afterlife. Accompanying Hendrixson’s finely performed Stormfield and adding marvelous music and sound effects is People’s Theatre Artistic Producing Director Mary Knoll on the dulcimer. This is theatre you can eat! Tapas and dinner from the kitchen of Pachamama are served with flare and the sangria is delicious. Well worth the trip to North Beach, Captain Stormfield is a MUST SEE!

"The role of Captain Stormfield, dynamically performed by Hendrixson, is faithful to Twain's humor and characterization of his hero. "The People's Theatre has once more served up an entertaining and delectable treat with four humorous, short plays about food... Featuring a talented quartet of singing actors . . .Theater You Can Eat is made doubly enjoyable by the caringly prepared food and drink from Pena Pachamama's actual kitchen."
"In terms of the quality of the performances and the writing -- "Theater You Can Eat" proved to be tasty fare... Robinson possesses a warmly zany sense of humor that the actors make the most of with understated grace."
